Wake Up Aerobics

08:00AM - 08:30AM A new class is energizing the Suzanne Patterson Building every weekday morning from 8:00 - 8:30am. A great way to start the day - 15 minutes of cardio followed by 15 minutes of toning. All levels welcome. Led by Linda Anglin, an experienced aerobics teacher and personal trainer. Try it out! Only $55 per month or $5 to drop-in.

Art for Caregivers

10:30AM - 12:30PM The Arts Council of Princeton presents a special class this summer at PSRC: Art for Caregivers, a chance for you, either on your own or with your care partner, to exercise your creativity in a non-judgmental environment. Explore a variety of art techniques including printmaking and collage to keep your mind agile and your eyes open to the creative possibilities around you. Create something beautiful and unexpected from simple materials, and you may find the creative process awakens optimism and begins to relieve stress.

03:30PM Miriam Yevick began writing letters to her 2 month old granddaughter, Ariela, in 1985. She continued through to Ariela’s wedding in 2006 and motherhood in 2008. In sharing her thoughts and values, Ms. Yevick tells the story of her family’s flight from Nazi-occupied Holland & Belgium, about earning a Ph.D. in mathematics from MIT while raising her own family and all the time maintaining her humanity. No fee.

Presenter Bio
Carol King is a retiree living in the Princeton New Jersey area. She is Director of Next Step: Engaged Retirementsm and Encore Careers offered by the Princeton Senior Resource Center. Previously Carol was a college professor (tourism & hospitality management, organizational behavior, management and leadership), as well as a church financial administrator, hospitality industry consultant, food service manager and occasional technical writer. She has both an MBA and a PhD from New York University. She has had a variety of jobs in retirement, most of which evolved out of volunteer activities or contacts. She is a member of the Advisory Commission on Aging of Mercer County Community College. Carol is a Certified Retirement Coach.
